Module 1- Types of telescopes and using/setting up a Dobsonian telescope.

2-hour in-house module with coffee break.

An in-depth discussion of the four basic types of telescopes used by amateur astronomers, showing the practical aspects of each type and the performance you can expect.

We shall take a look at the weight, mobility, and power requirements of these telescopes and the types of astronomy best suited to them.

Dobsonian telescopes- a popular telescope with limitations but it has the biggest bang for your buck, i.e.: excellent views for the price. We shall discuss and show the pros and cons of this type of telescope.

NOT suitable for children under 9 years.

Once a module is paid for it can be repeated free of charge.
