Waddi Astronomy Weekend

On the 7th and 8th of September BinoCentral and AGWA are off to Waddi Bush resort, the resort is near Badgingarra, It’s Just two hours north of Perth and is a hidden gem. For those who enjoy a bush break this 1,200 acre bush retreat is full of unspoilt bush, wildflowers, walking tracks and a peaceful ambience.

Friday we can check in after 3pm so head up after work on the Friday and get our first session under the dark sky.
On the Saturday in the day there are plenty of things to do including the Pinnacles, the wildflowers are putting on an amazing display this year, also a trip to the motorcycle museum at Jurien Bay.
Saturday 6pm we will have a BBQ so BYO Drinks and Food, then viewing in the evening, the skies are Dark with next to no light to spoil our view, this is a great opportunity for those that have never experienced a true Dark Sky. The milky way will light up the sky as there is no Moon that weekend, we will be treated on Saturday to Mercury, Venus, Jupiter, Saturn, Mars and Neptune. This is truly a one off experience.
