The ZWO ASI991MM Pro is a specialized cooled monochrome SWIR (Short-Wave Infrared) camera, featuring the advanced Sony IMX991 InGaAs sensor. With a 0.34MP resolution and 5µm pixel size, this camera is designed to capture exceptional detail in SWIR imaging, photometry, and scientific applications. Covering a broad wavelength range of 0.4μm to 1.7μm, the ASI991MM Pro offers high sensitivity across the visible and infrared spectrum, with peak quantum efficiency (QE) over 80% at 1200nm.

The ASI991MM Pro integrates ZWO’s zero amp glow technology, eliminating unwanted infrared light artifacts common in traditional sensors. Its two-stage TEC cooling system reduces the sensor temperature by up to 35°C below ambient, minimizing dark current noise for cleaner, high-contrast images. This makes it ideal for long-exposure imaging, even under challenging conditions such as cloud cover or daylight.

Built with a durable 1/4" Sony IMX991 sensor and Cu-Cu interconnect technology, the ASI991MM Pro boasts low fixed pattern noise and a high pixel quality. Achieving up to 144 frames per second (fps) with its USB 3.0 connection, the camera is optimized for high-speed data transfer, making it suitable for dynamic imaging needs.
