saxon GoTo EQ5 Upgrade Kit

Upgrade your standard EQ5 mount to a full GoTo and tracking mount making it ideal for Astro-Photography. The upgrade is very easy to install and can be done in 30 minutes with no special tools needed.

Included in the Upgrade Kit:

• V.3 SynScan Flash Upgradeable GO-TO handset
• Two Stepper Motors for DEC and R.A. Drives
• Replacement Control Panel / Motor Board, Hand Control Cable, Cable Clamp and Hand Control Holder

Since the Go-To system is such an easy to use yet robust device, it would be an excellent upgrade to many standard mounts. The computerised GoTo system is convienient to operate. Users can simply nagvigate through the Synscan menu and save time on finding and tracking celestial objects and hence leaving more time for star gazing and space exploring.
