Thanks to their large front lens diameter, they are particularly suitable for observations at night and in the hours approaching darkness. The Leica Ultravid 50 HD-Plus comes in magnifications of 8x, 10x or 12x The 12x magnification offers the best possible detail identification, and is ideal for the use with tripods.

Thoughtfully Engineered

To reduce user fatigue during long glassing sessions, the chassis is made of a lightweight yet durable magnesium alloy, with a titanium center hinge axle. The Ultravid binoculars are nitrogen filled for fog proof properties. It is also durable even in water. it is waterproof and it is submersible to around 5m in water. Ergonomic thumb indents on the bottom of the binoculars coupled with protective rubber armoring provide a comfortable slip-resistant grip. The list goes on!
