The HIKMICRO Gryphon GH25L LRF Fusion Thermal Imaging Monocular is a compact, multi-spectrum handheld device designed for reliable observation in low-visibility and challenging environmental conditions. By combining thermal imaging, visible light imaging, and an integrated laser rangefinder, it delivers clear situational awareness across daylight, low-light, and complete darkness.

Developed by HIKMICRO, the Gryphon GH25L uses advanced fusion technology to enhance image clarity and object recognition, making it well suited for professional and outdoor observation where accuracy, adaptability, and reliability are essential.

Thermal Imaging Performance and Detection Capability

The Gryphon GH25L is built around a 384 × 288 VOx uncooled thermal sensor with a 12 µm pixel pitch and NETD below 35 mK. This high-sensitivity sensor delivers fine thermal detail and strong contrast, even in complex temperature environments such as fog, rain, or uneven terrain.

The 25 mm F1.0 objective lens provides a detection range of up to 1200 metres, while a minimum focus distance of just 2 metres allows effective close-range observation. Native optical magnification of 2.39× is supported by digital zoom up to 8×, offering flexibility for both short- and medium-distance viewing.

Fusion Imaging and Optical Module

Bi-spectrum fusion technology allows thermal and visible imagery to be viewed independently or combined into a single image. This improves edge definition and enhances visual detail compared to thermal-only viewing.

The integrated optical module uses a 1/2″ progressive scan CMOS sensor with a 1920 × 1080 resolution, enabling detailed observation in daylight and low-light conditions. Multiple viewing modes are available, including White Hot, Black Hot, Red Hot, Thermal, Visible, and Image Fusion, allowing quick adaptation to changing environments and observation needs.

Integrated Laser Rangefinder and Smart Functions

The built-in laser rangefinder provides accurate distance measurement up to 600 metres with an accuracy of ±1 metre. This improves spatial awareness and precision when identifying and assessing distant heat sources.

Additional smart features include hot spot detection, hot track tracking, distance measurement tools, standby mode for power management, and onboard video recording and snapshot capture. Captured images and video are stored on the built-in 16 GB internal memory for easy review and transfer.

Display, Power, and Environmental Protection

Thermal and optical imagery is displayed on a high-resolution 0.39-inch OLED screen with a resolution of 1024 × 768 and a 50 Hz refresh rate. This ensures smooth image transitions and clear detail during extended observation sessions.

The Gryphon GH25L is powered by a removable 18650 battery, delivering up to approximately 5 hours of continuous operation. Its IP67-rated housing protects the device from dust, water immersion, and harsh weather, making it suitable for demanding outdoor and professional environments.
