High-Sensitivity Thermal Performance and Long Detection Range

At the core of the Falcon FQ50 is a 640 × 512 VOx uncooled thermal sensor with a 12 µm pixel pitch and an exceptionally low NETD below 20 mK. This high sensitivity allows precise thermal separation and strong contrast, even in challenging temperature environments where differences are subtle.

Paired with a fast 50 mm F0.9 lens, the system achieves an impressive detection range of up to 2600 metres, making it ideal for long-distance thermal observation. Native optical magnification of 2.6× is supported by digital zoom up to 8×, providing a total magnification range of 2.6× to 10.4×.

A picture-in-picture function enables detailed inspection of distant heat sources while maintaining broader situational awareness.
