Built for serious astrophotographers, the Sky-Watcher Esprit 100EDX combines advanced optics and robust engineering for exceptional imaging performance. Featuring a 100mm air-spaced apochromatic triplet lens with premium Ohara FPL-53 extra-low dispersion (ED) glass, this refractor delivers outstanding colour correction and virtually eliminates chromatic aberration even on the brightest objects.

Its fully multi-coated optics work in tandem with a knife-edge baffled system to boost contrast and reduce internal reflections, making it ideal for capturing fine detail in deep-sky targets. The optional 2-element field flattener corrects off-axis astigmatism and curvature, producing a flat 42mm image circle for full-frame camera sensors.

Designed with astrophotography in mind, the 3″ linear dual-speed focuser offers smooth, precise adjustments and high load capacity with zero image shift. It's also rotatable and indexed, allowing perfect framing every time.
