Engineered to block 99.999% of intense light from the sun, it allows you to see sunspots, planetary transits, and all phases of solar eclipses. This version has a diameter of 11.53"/293mm to fit 10" models of the LX90, LX200, LX600, and LX850 telescopes and is held safely in-place by a simple thumbscrew for easy installation and removal without tools or permanent modification to your telescope. Remember to practice proper safe solar viewing techniques, and never look directly at the sun without certified solar viewing glasses and equipment.
For direct solar viewing, viewing the sun through an optic, or when using cameras with an optical viewfinder, ensure your filter is ISO 12312-2 (also written as ISO 12312-2:2015) certified.
